There really is only one airline to go with on long haul flights, and that is Emirates. They really are the best at what they do. I travel economy and still have the feeling of an upgraded  travel experience. The hostesses, the service and food are all second to none. EVERYTIME I fly with Emirates they have a new service for guest satisfaction so at no time does travelling with them seem boring or mundane , there is always a feeling of anticipation ….what’s new this time, what surprises are in store for me.

This time it was the all new Inter – Active travel experience. Play the new augmented Emirates Destination dash. Solve the puzzles and travel  across the 6 continents.

Free WiFi in the sky. Send texts , tweets and emails from your seat on A380 and Boeing 777 aircrafts with 10MG  free or you can buy 500MG for 1 USD.

The new menu on offer was a real treat with a choice of 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, lots of snacks and plenty of drinks available in between meals. I chose the tomato and feta frittata with mushroom, hash browns and beans. Fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, oj and coffee, for my breakfast on the first part of my journey. Chicken and cheese croissants followed by blueberry muffins with hot coffee made for a welcomed snack mid-flight)while watching one of the latest movies (The Accountant and then Manchester by the Sea).

On the connecting flight the food was equally as good . I opted for the Prawn and pasta salad, roast chicken with mash and vegetables and a fluffy cappuccino mousse, with crackers and cheese on the side. The on flight wine, both red and white are what I like to call ”glug gable’, goes down easy and a nice way to watch Keeping up with the Joneses and A Sea of Trees.

The third and final connecting flight offered Barley salad with grilled salmon, green beans and new potato followed by a delicious chocolate orange cake. Turkey bite sambos and choc chip cookies kept me going  while I watched Dr Strange and Jack Reacher. All too soon  the last part of my journey ended.

If Economy is this good I would love to try the business/first class …………SOMEDAY
