Book 3
Until recently I didn’t even know who Alex Malley was. Andre Rieu was being interviewed on TV and I wanted to see it. I didn’t know who the interviewer was so I asked my daughter. Alex Malley she said and proceeded to tell me all about him. She spoke highly of him and his achievements so after the interview I decided to Google him……what else was I to do.
A well known, well liked man who always does what he believes in. I was interested to read his book The Naked CEO. Full of good advice, examples of young people he had mentored and how they got on, and decisions he had made and why along his journey to get to where he is today. He has done it all or almost all and it certainly is refreshing to know that Sir Alex is willing to share his advice with our next generation with humour, and straight talking.
The book was really inspiring but unfortunately I felt it was geared to Uni students or their parents who could pass on the advice. I had outgrown the book, but enjoyed it none the less , his antics and way of thinking not only made me smile but brought back some memories of my own student days.
A good read for students who haven’t yet stepped onto the ladder to success.
But, I am glad I took the time to read it.
