The Bavarian Beer Café, Brisbane.
Went to this lovely restaurant on the banks of the Brisbane river during the October beer festival.
Food is fab even if the portions are on the big side.
From the top right going clockwise:
- Homemade humus with veggie sticks and crackers.(single portion).
- Deep fried calamari with tartar sauce.
- Pork belly on mashed potato
- Pork knuckle served with mashed potatoes and cabbage (a speciality of the restaurant) A MUST for pork lovers with big appetites.
The choice of beer is soo big we opted for the 4 beer tasting selection, and had a chance to taste four completely different beers in half glasses instead of ordering one 500ml.
Great location, atmosphere and food.
